Skycamp is the San Francisco-based brainchild of vocalist/guitarist Joseph Seif, drummer Ron Kutulas, and guitarist/bassist Tobin Mori (formerly of Ee) Their mercurial blend of shoegaze, post-punk and folk music comes through in their multi-instrumentalist approach and relentless sonic attack. Taking cues from the likes of Joy Division, Sonic Youth and Slowdive, Seif's songwriting is often very autobiographical- a contrast to the spacey, laconic vocals typically associated with the shoegaze genre. "White Cloud" is Skycamp's second studio release.
